Playing Catch-Up With TV As Usual!

Playing Catch-Up With TV As Usual!

As always I keep falling behind, but I’m finally getting a handle on things. I hope to be posting more often! Until then, here are my collective thoughts on a lot of shows.

“American Horror Story” continues to baffle me. I’m convinced that John is the 10 Commandments Killer, he just doesn’t realize it yet. This is what the Halloween dinner was all about, trying to make him accept who he is. I still am baffled by Lady Gaga’s character, and hope we soon find out who turned her. What was with her weird baby Bartholomew? Gross! John’s wife I could care less about and wish they’d kill her and her awful creepy vampire child off. This week made me feel so bad for poor Liz Taylor though. The Countess is truly horrible, and it looks like everyone is about to turn on her and take her out.

“Gotham” is still keeping my attention, though I cannot figure out Jim and Barbara。 We know he has a daughter named Barbara, but I can’t for the life of me understand why he’d want to name his daughter after that nut job? I am looking forward to Galavan being taken down。 However this show isn’t doing it for me as much as some other superhero shows are, mainly because there are no real superheroes or villains on it, just normal nasty people。

“Grey’s Anatomy” has continued to surprise me with the Post-Derek storylines. I actually felt sorry for the Doctor that accidentally caused his death over the past few weeks, but Amelia is on my last nerve. She needs to change her attitude and relocate. I am definitely interested in what happened between Owen and the new doc in the past, as Owen seems to be suffering some severe PTSD that has been sparked by this guy.

I still am having a hard time making headway with “Heroes Reborn.” I’ve watched a few more episodes, I just doesn’t seem to be invested in it as I was the original series. I think with so few of the originals back in a large way, it’s hard to care.

I’m almost done with season one of “How To Get Away With Murder,” just in time to catch up with Season 2 as the Winter finale is upon us.

“Nashville” still remains one of my favorite shows to watch. I absolutely cannot believe they killed off Jeff Fordham though. He was a jerk, but he was a great character. Who are we supposed to hate now? Jeff’s gone, Teddy’s in jail, and Lamar is dead. There has to be a villain. I feel that Scarlett’s man is going to go off the deep-end in order to hold onto her and will be the next evil guy on the show.

I am still loving “Once Upon A Time,” and am convinced Emma is not as evil as everyone thinks but has a plan to help them all。 Tonight is the two part winter finale, so I guess we will find out。 I can’t wait to see Arthur go down, and then there is the Wicked Witch who still needs to be dealt with。 If Emma can’t get rid of The Dark One for good then I could the witch becoming the next one。

We seem to be getting closer to the truth on “Scream Queens,” and it appears there may have been two babies born that night long ago, not one. It doesn’t look like Grace is either of the babies. We know Nick Jonas is one of the devil killer’s, and that Grace’s dad’s girlfriend is the ring leader of the two red devils. I think Lea Michelle’s Channel is going to turn out to be the other killer/devil.

“Supergirl” is excellent if you have not checked it out. So far I’m very impressed all around with the stories, the acting, and even the visuals. Excellent show and I hope it keeps it up.

Likewise I’m really enjoying “The Flash” as well still. Having Barry end up paralyzed is an interesting twist, and we still don’t know who Zoom is. At first I thought it may be alternate Barry, but now I think it’s his dad in the alternate universe.

Fall 2015 Weekly Update: Week 2ish . . .

Fall 2015 Weekly Update: Week 2ish . . .

So this is another week-of-shows-in-one post. I’ve been very busy lately, and hope to eventually get back to more individualistic show-by-show posts, but this is the easiest way for me to do this right now and not fall behind. Oh, and I’m already behind! I still haven’t caught up on “Heroes Reborn,” and I’m 2/3 of the way through season one of “How To Get Away With Murder.” For those asking about “Scandal,” I kept trying to like that show but never got into it. Maybe next summer I’ll binge watch it!

This week “American Horror Story: Hotel” debuts, along with the return of “Grim.” I’m looking forward to both!

I never commented on the end of “Big Brother 17” or “Under the Dome,” because frankly both sucked。 I actually stopped watching “Big Brother,” worst season and cast ever! As for “Under The Dome,” just what the hell? Clearly they were still hopeful for another season, but given the whole alien invasion crap, I don’t know why。 What a way to blow what was a good show。

Onto “Castle,” I’m glad they quickly resolved this secret agent Beckett storyline, but with her as Captain now I wonder how involved she will be with the day to day cases. It will definitely be interesting to see where they go with things this season.

“Gotham” has been getting better and better。 I love the villains, and am wondering what or who Barbara will become。 It almost seems they are setting her up to be Harley Quinn。 I love that they’ve brought Lucious Fox in to help Bruce become Batman, along with Alfred。

“Grey’s” was just okay this week. I like seeing more of Miranda, but I just don’t know where they will take things this year. Amelia and Owen are great, but they aren’t the new MerDer. I also am glad that Jackson is not just taking April back after the crap she’s been pulling.

I have to wonder how long before Rayna signs her kids to her label on “Nashville,” as it seems they could help save it for her. Watching Juliette spiral out of control is terribly fun, and I can’t believe Luke dropped Will like that. For shame!

I really enjoyed the season premiere of “Once,” especially the reversal of roles with Emma and Regina. However, another fricken missing time/memories curse? Come on! There are only so many times that stuff can be done.

I have been watching “Project Runway,” I just had forgotten to comment on it. Its pretty obvious Edmund, Ashley and Candice will be the final three, unless something insane happens.

“Scream Queens” is still my favorite show of the season so far, likely because of the newness of it. I loved the transformation of Leah Michelle’s character into Channel #6. I still am lost on who the killer is, other than it seems there are two, and Nick Jonas character is working with the original.

鼎宝福彩“Sleepy Hollow” returned this week, and I for one am glad the Henry/Katrina arch has ended. That was becoming tedious, and frankly standing in the way of any romance between Ichabod and Mills. Though that won’t happen soon, as it’s usually the death of these types of shows. I do like that they’ve been able to craft a whole new storyline for them as witnesses.
